Last morning in the villa!
Yesterday we climbed all day – doing a lot of long and hard 40 meter routes in sector called Indian’s Wall. We were absolutely exhausted after, and our bodies are creaking and aching and failing in all sorts of ways.

It started raining right as we left the wall, and we hung out at the villa in the drizzle. I bought an onion from the travelling vegetable man for 40 cents, and the guy at the mini mart gave us his wife’s homemade hummus when we checked out. We learned the other day from the Canadian couple we climbed with that some Greeks still believe in the idea that any one of us could be a god – random kind deeds could be beneficial just in case one accidentally gives hummus to a goddess. For dinner we had grilled veg, grilled pita with hummus, and grilled onion with olives, crackers, leftover pasta, cookies…we feasted!

In the loft we watched Mamma Mia, which Jordan had NEVER SEEN. I was thrilled to see how delighted and surprised he was about how silly and campy it was – we had a lot of fun. I ended the night writing my postcards home. Now to figure out how to mail them…
This morning we had espresso and omelettes on the patio and need to get some logistical work done before leaving this afternoon. It was supposed to rain, but of course, the weather is perfect!
